  • It’s a precise method of determining which colours harmonise most naturally with your skin tone, hair, and eyes. Once your season (or flowing sub-season) is identified, every colour choice, clothing, accessories, makeup, and hair, becomes simpler and more flattering.

  • Absolutely. Many of Maureen’s male clients want sharper wardrobe choices, better suit and shirt combinations, or guidance on hair colour. The process is exactly the same and completely tailored to your needs.

  • An individual session takes around an hour and a half. This allows time for thorough draping, discussion, hair-colour recommendations, and answering all of your questions.

  • Please arrive with a clean, moisturised face (no makeup, fake tan, or heavy skincare). This ensures the most accurate reading. Maureen provides gentle makeup remover if needed.

  • Wear something comfortable in a neutral colour (white, grey, or black top is ideal). Bring your curiosity; everything else is provided.

  • No problem at all. We work with your current hair colour and can discuss frames or future dye choices that suit your season.

  • You will receive a personalised colour swatch card featuring your exact season and best shades, along with a colour wheel to guide accessory and outfit coordination. Following your session, you’ll also get a detailed report summarising your analysis, complete with tailored recommendations for makeup, hair colour, and wardrobe.

  • Yes. Because of Maureen’s 20+ years as a L’Oréal Colour Specialist, every session includes tailored hair-colour guidance that perfectly aligns with your season.

  • Definitely! in fact, many clients book before a big hair change so they choose a shade that enhances their natural season from day one.

  • Yes, on request. It’s an optional $100 add-on for clients who would like help applying their colours to the clothes they already own.

  • The studio is in Hillarys, with parking right outside. Prefer not to travel? Colour Decode at Home brings the full studio setup to you.

  • Yes. Colour Decode at Home is available in Perth’s Northern Suburbs. Maureen brings a professional vanity mirror, the full set of 16 seasons of colour analysis drapes and professional lighting, so your session is just as accurate as in the studio. A $150 callout applies once per booking, not per person. Other areas and larger groups are available on request.

  • Yes. Maureen offers sessions for couples, friends and small groups of up to 3 people, and larger groups are welcome on request. Group sessions make a lovely shared experience and are priced lower per person.

  • A deposit secures your booking online, and the amount depends on the service you choose. The balance is paid before your session begins, by cash or online, whichever suits you.

  • A full refund is available with more than 48 hours’ notice. Within 48 hours, the deposit can be transferred to a new date.

  • Yes. Gift vouchers are available from $100 and are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. They can be used for any studio session or put towards a Colour Decode at Home booking.
